Aftercare Guidance
Care for Your Skin, Enhance Your Results
After your laser hair removal treatment, proper aftercare is essential to protect your skin and achieve the best possible results.
⸻
Immediately After Treatment
It’s normal to experience mild redness or sensitivity, similar to a slight sunburn. This usually settles within a few hours.
-
Apply a soothing gel (such as aloe vera) if needed
-
Keep the area clean and cool
-
Avoid touching or irritating the treated area
⸻
For the First 24–48 Hours
-
Avoid hot baths, showers, saunas, and steam rooms
-
No intense exercise or activities that cause sweating
-
Avoid perfumed products, deodorants (on treated areas), or harsh skincare
-
Wear loose clothing to prevent friction
⸻
Sun Exposure
Your skin will be more sensitive to UV after treatment.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure for two weeks after your session
-
Use SPF 30+ or higher daily
-
Do not use sunbeds or fake tan on the treated area straight after your appointment.
⸻
Hair Shedding & Regrowth
-
Treated hairs begin to shed within 1–3 weeks
-
This is a normal part of the process—do not pick or pull
-
You may shave between sessions, but avoid waxing or plucking
⸻
Ongoing Care
-
Keep skin hydrated with gentle moisturisers
-
Follow your recommended treatment schedule
-
Attend all sessions for optimal, long-lasting results
